Properties: this product is off-white power or pellet, melting point is 87-89 ℃. M-DEA is insoluble in water, soluble in toluene, xylene, 1, 4-butanediol, aniline and 80 ℃ thermotriethylene glycol.
Properties and applications: M-DEA is a polyurethane chain extender and also used as curing agent of epoxy resin. The obtained products have good dynamic mechanical properties which are not found in ordinary chain extenders. It is also used in the synthesis of polyimide and as an intermediate in organic synthesis. In the field of polyurethane,
it is suitable for casting polyurethane elastomer, RIM elastomer and coating (including spray elastomer coating). The product has good hydrolysis stability and low water absorption.
